It's been over a month

Well it's been over a month since we got our referral call.We will not get to make our first trip until after the holidays.The waiting has been so hard I look at her sweet little picture constantly it does not help that in her picture she is pouting as to say please come get me! I will say that time has been going by pretty fast and with thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays coming we will be pretty busy so that should help time fly.We are hoping to make our first trip in January,and are praying to have her back around March or April so hold on our little angel we are coming for you as quick as we can!

We got the call !!!!!!

We got our referral about lunch time yesterday.She is the sweetest little thing we have ever saw.
It was love at first sight and I cant wait to go visit her.I think I have already looked at this picture 454,999 times.

Photo books to take to the baby

These are the photo books that we will leave with our little one between trips.In hopes she will remember us when we get back to pick her up!

In one week

I am proud to say that in one week I was able to update our home study, update all four of our medicals, get Lil Johnny an ID and fingerprinted and I even survived a slumber party for Paige's 11th birthday.But no the clothes still are not done! lol

Where to start?

OK so we decided we are going to take our little girl to Russia with us so this means we have to go get her a passport.On top of that it is time to update our home study so you know what that means new medicals,update fingerprints,new employment and much much more.Little Johnny is now 18 so he has to be fingerprinted (that should be fun) if you know him you would know this is not going to be fun and during all of this Paige has her 11th Birthday this weekend and Lil Johnny has senior portraits that have to be done.Hmmm where do I start!

RING PHONE RING

I am finding that waiting is getting much harder these days.I can't wait to see her little face and kiss her little cheeks.I know the meaning of waiting it took me about five years and two miscarriages to get pregnant with my little girl and it was all worth the wait as I know this will be also.So I will just keep praying that I hear something soon and that god looks over our soon to be daughter until we can be together.

I have never:Checked my e-mail,checked the mail,taken my phone with me,went to the notary,got my fingerprints taken or been to the Dr as much as I have in the last 8 months.Every time the phone rings I think it's THE CALL.I will continue to pray we hear something soon.

I received a email today from our agency needing us to update a few things, and they told us we were next on the list.What a great day.

Well almost another month has passed and no word yet. I can't stand waiting but I know it will happen I just have to be patient.I

We were registered in December in Russia and are waiting on a referral for our baby girl .

I have decided to keep this blog to keep family and friends up to date on the adoption front.
